04/25/2004 Entry: "James Bond"

Every frickin' weekend at least one tv station shows a James Bond marathon. I never got into James Bond movies. Zack loves 'em. I've been wandering back and forth between the living room and computer room today, so I've caught bits and pieces of the movies. A conversation between Zack and I a couple minutes ago:

Me: "Are they in outer space??"

Z: "Yeah."

Me: "Is that the same girl he was just in the back of an ambulance with?"

Z: "Yeah, but he jumped out the back of the ambulance." (As it was speeding off to who-knows-where.)

Me: "And he left the girl in the ambulance."

Z: "It's not like he could jump back in to the ambulance."

Me: "And now they're in outer space."

Z: "Well, it's better than being in the back of an ambulance."

I give up.

not just any station has the bond marathons, it's spike tv.

spike tv also has the ultimate extreme elimination challenge. awesome and hilariously funny show.

i hate walking in on the middle of a show and then person entranced in the show starts babbling about what's going on and you're left thinking "wtf are they smoking!" er, i think it's usually me that starts babbling though. ahh, i feel for my poor boyfriend. :)

Might I suggest the James Bond ultimate DVD collections 1 -3? Bond really needs to be viewed in anamorphic widescreen without commercial interruption =)

I can't remember the joke exactly, plus it's a translation, but it's something like this:

A girl asks James Bond what time it is. He sais: "it's ten... six ten"

I never got into the James Bond thing either. For some reason it always reminds me of McGuiver and I think he sucks!
